Officers say it was either a resident of the home or the landlord who phoned police.

At this time the death is being considered suspicious. However, homicide detectives have been called in.

The man’s identity is not being released at this time. Police say they are in the process of notifying his next of kin, who live outside of Alberta.

The Oliver home was cordoned off with police tape as officers continued their investigation Saturday evening.
