MELVILLE, Sask. – A man will appear in court today on a charge of aggravated assault after another man was allegedly tied up and beaten on a Saskatchewan reserve.
R-C-M-P say the alleged victim suffered serious injuries and had to be treated at hospital after the Friday violence on the Ochapowace First Nation near Broadview.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a second person, who is believed to be a minor.
Police also say the two accused and the victim know each other.
The 23-year-old suspect will appear in Melville.
