Broadview, Sask. – A 23-year-old man from Ochapowace First Nation is in custody facing charges of aggravated assault and forcible confinement and another person is being sought, after a 21-year-old was tied up and beaten.

RCMP say the incident happened in the community on Friday.

The victim received serious injuries but has been released from hospital.

An arrest warrant was issued for someone described as young; he/she is being sought for aggravated assault, forcible confinement and breach of probation.

The victim, person charged and person being sought are known to each other.

Shyrone Lloyd Alan Allary, 23, has been charged will appear in a Melville court on Monday.

The investigation is ongoing.
