MONTREAL – It was all glitz and glamour at one of the city’s most anticipated social events on Friday night.
Over 400 people attended the St. Patrick’s Society of Montreal’s annual charity ball at the Marriott Chateau Champlain.

The evening’s guest of honour was Margaret Healy.
Healy is a former president of the United Irish Societies (UIS).
In 2005, she was named the first woman Grand Marshal of the UIS St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Healy is well known in all corners of Montreal’s Irish community and is recognized for her commitment to the community.
