A Brazilian tourist was given a shock by a cheeky monkey when it stole his video camera to take a selfie this past January.
Ailton Schoemberger, from Curitiba, Brazil, was visiting the Uluwatu Temple in Bali when he decided to film himself feeding the local monkeys.
One grabbed his camera before running off with it into the forest.
In the video posted online two days later, its owner can be heard shouting: “Yo, yo monkey! No, no, no!” as people laugh in the background.
The video has been watched nearly 100,000 times since being posted on YouTube on January 22.
The monkey eventually let go of the camera once a helpful member of the temple’s staff gave it a piece of fruit.
