TORONTO — Sandra Bullock’s paycheque for starring in Gravity is expected to be out of this world.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 49-year-old actress could earn as much as $70 million from the sci-fi blockbuster.
Sources told the magazine Bullock’s deal includes $20 million upfront against 15 per cent of the gross. Assuming the studio collects 45 per cent of the theatrical box office receipts, Bullock will earn more than $50 million.

The actress will collect additional revenue from home video and television revenues.
Gravity has earned more than $703 million worldwide to date.
With that much cash, Bullock could reserve a seats for a real space flight on Virgin Galactic for herself and 279 friends.
Bullock could also enroll herself and 107,857 friends the four-day Adult Space Academy at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Alabama.
She also has enough to buy the Angry Birds Space app for every person in Australia, Canada and the Netherlands combined.
Bullock could also order 603,448 Star Trek cadet T-shirts in each of four colours or give every person living in the Greater Toronto Area a one-year subscription to Spacing magazine.
