SASKATOON – The current cold snap has caused a significant number of water main breaks in Saskatoon.
As of Sunday night, city crews had been able to restore water to some locations, but there are areas still without water. All available staff have been brought in to deal with the breaks and additional crews will be working on Monday.

Water trailers have been brought in for the following locations where breaks have occurred:
- 7th Street East
- Tait Crescent
- Philips Crescent
- Louise Avenue
Water trailers are being provided in the order breaks are reported and usually within eight hours of water being shut off but city officials say that with the number of water breaks currently happening, affected areas may have to wait longer up to 12 hours for a trailer.
