TORONTO — Christina Aguilera is apparently ready to give marriage another try.
The 33-year-old singer announced Friday — Valentine’s Day — that she is engaged to production assistant Matthew Rutler.
“He asked and I said…” Aguilera tweeted with a photo of the diamond engagement ring.

Aguilera, who appears as a coach on The Voice, and Rutler have been a couple since late 2010.
She has a six-year-old son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman. The couple finalized their divorce in 2011 after six years of marriage.
Rutler has worked as a production assistant on movies like The Social Network and Grown Ups. He also plays guitar in a band.
