A man police believe was responsible for a 2010 murder in Prince George has been arrested in Victoria.
The man, who was 16 when the act occurred and thus can’t be named, was arrested earlier today by RCMP officers. He is charged with second degree murder for the death of Tyrone Thomas.

Thomas, 39 at the time of his death, was killed on July 9, 2010 after being stabbed multiple times outside a 7-Eleven on 20th Avenue in Prince George.

Police are hoping to identify a witness in the 7-Eleven at the time, an adult male who was driving a pick-up with a boat and trailer. He drove away before police arrived.
