TORONTO – One man was killed and another was seriously injured after a double stabbing in Newmarket overnight.
Police in York Region were called to a home on Davis Drive just after 10:30 p.m. where they found two men suffering from stab wounds.
One died in hospital of his injuries and the other underwent emergency surgery.
Police are looking for multiple suspects who fled the scene in a dark coloured SUV.
Meanwhile, another deadly stabbing took place in the Toronto’s west end near Kipling and Albion around 8:30 p.m.
A 45-year-old man was killed in that incident.
There’s no word yet on what sparked the attack, or how many suspects police are searching for.
