Watch: Canada’s halfpipe team refuses to bash American Shaun White

Canada’s halfpipe team didn’t rise to the bait when asked about U.S. snowboarder Shaun White’s decision to withdraw from the slopestyle competition to focus on halfpipe.

“I’m sorry, who?” said Crispin Lipscomb when a reporter asked about comments the Canadian slopestyle snowboarders had made, poking fun at White for his decision.

Shortly after White announced on Wednesday that he wouldn’t compete in slopestyle, Canadians tweeted that he wouldn’t compete because he was scared he’d lose.
