CALGARY – Police have charged a 61-year-old man after he allegedly distributed sexually graphic flyers throughout a southeast neighbourhood, targeting a 40-year-old woman.

Officers began their investigation in June of 2013, after a man called to complain his daughter was being harassed.

He told police there were flyers being delivered throughout the community of Southview and strewn on the street, which made allegations about the victim and contained pornographic images.

The flyers had the victim’s name, address and phone number listed, which caused additional harassment to her family.

Police say due to the content of the flyers, the victim was solicited multiple times for sexual encounters.

The incidents had allegedly been occurring since the summer of 2011.

On Friday, police arrested 61-year-old Anthony Victor Hilton.
