WINNIPEG – Bruno Mars is a hot ticket Monday after the singer gained a few new fans with his halftime show at the Super Bowl Sunday.
Tickets for the Grammy-winning singer’s Winnipeg Moonlight Jungle Tour Aug. 2 at the MTS Centre go on sale at 10 a.m. It’s his second show in Winnipeg.
The 28-year-old crooner, whose real name is Richard Hernandez, was named Billboard magazine’s 2013 Artist of the Year. He won a 2011 Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and has four nominations for this year’s awards.
Mars has released two albums – 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans and 2012/s Unorthodox Jukebox. His hits include Just the Way You Are, Marry You and Locked Out of Heaven.
