EDMONTON – Former Edmonton City Councillor Sherry McKibben has passed away at the age of 69.
McKibben was elected to Edmonton council in 1994.
She served as HIV Edmonton’s executive director for eight years until about 2006.
Those on staff say her passing is a big loss for the community.

Mayor Don Iveson sent out his condolences on Twitter Thursday afternoon.
