TORONTO — The freshman comedy series Sean Saves The World, which airs in Canada on Global, has been cancelled.
Eighteen episodes of the series starring Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) were ordered by NBC but only 12 have been broadcast. Two more completed episodes may air after the Winter Olympics but production of the show has been shut down.

In Sean Saves The World, Hayes played a gay single dad living with a teenaged daughter and getting parenting help from his mother, played by Linda Lavin.
Hayes is executive producer of Sean Saves The World as well as the shows Grimm, Hollywood Game Night and Hot In Cleveland.
