Sport: Freestyle Skiing

Age: 26

Hometown: Penticton, B.C.

Accomplishments:

  • Two top-10 finishes at Winter X Games.

Interesting Fact: Was the first skier ever to land a “double cork 900” – a trick involving a front flip as well as two and a half spins – which led to his being featured on the covers of many skiing magazines.

Chances: Like many of his Canadian skiing teammates, Margetts is coming off recent success, being part of a podium sweep in early January along with Justin Dorey and Noah Bowman. But he isn’t expected to be a medal contender.
