Police believe he was killed a month earlier, on Oct. 4, 2006.

Lavallee, an Indian Posse gang member, lured and eventually forced Pelletier into a home in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue, police allege.

He was assaulted and then shot dead, police said.

Lavallee and others took Pelletier’s body to a secluded area outside the city, police said.
