Accomplishments:

  • 2011 World Under-23 Championship 16th place in the 10-kilometre Free.

Interesting Fact: Emily Nishikawa was a competitive gymnast until age 14, when she decided to focus solely on cross-country skiing.

Chances: Her best finish on the World Cup circuit is 57th. The chances of Nishikawa coming away from Sochi with a medal around her neck are very slim.
