The lawsuit claims an infrared body wrap treatment was applied “negligently, carelessly and recklessly” and resulted in “severe and painful” burns all over her body. She alleges she suffered a second- or third-degree burn on her left thigh.
Two years later, Abdul claims she continues to suffer pain and suffering, including “great mental, physical and nervous strain.”
The lawsuit seeks more than $25,000 for medical expenses and loss of earning potential.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
