EDMONTON – A Fort McMurray man was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for child pornography related crimes.
The sentencing hearing for 44-year-old Stephen Deighton began Tuesday morning in an Edmonton courtroom.
Deighton pleaded guilty to three counts, including making and possessing child pornography, and voyeurism.

The 44-year-old allegedly recorded children at five Alberta swimming pools between 2005 and 2011, including the World Water Park at West Edmonton Mall, Servus Place in St. Albert, and Millennium Place in Sherwood Park.
Court heard that Deighton used concealed cameras to record footage of pre-teen girls in change rooms.
The majority of the victims were girls between three and 15 years old.
The judge accepted the joint submission by the Crown and Prosecution of two years of jail time followed by two years of probation.
Deighton is a father of four. His marriage had dissolved prior to his arrest.
