Edmonton Catholic, public schools cancel some bus services

Edmonton Catholic and public schools announced Monday they’ve cancelled bus service for kindergarten (noon pickup only) and early education for the rest of the week.

Catholic schools are also cancelling transportation this week for the early learning program 100 Voices.

The yellow buses are having a hard time driving through residential areas, and there are concerns about the safety of students, the school boards say.

The decision will be re-examined Friday.
