TORONTO – Arson charges have been filed after two fires broke out at an apartment in the Forest Hill area of Toronto.
Police say the first fire was set around 9 p.m. Wednesday and was quickly extinguished but they allege the same person returned and set a second fire around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Both fires were allegedly set in the same apartment, one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
The accused was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and was arrested in hospital.
