“It will be chilly across BC tonight with temperatures falling below freezing on the South Coast,” says Madryga. “Wind chill will be near -10 in parts of the Fraser Valley tonight as colder Arctic Air slides out of the Fraser Canyon.”

Global BC meteorologist Kristi Gordon says to watch for snow in the mountain passes between Hope and Merritt.

Meanwhile, a weather system will invade from the northwest on Thursday night.

Snow and rain will hit the South Coast at that time with possible accumulation of a few centimeters in higher parts of Metro Vancouver on Friday morning.
