Missing couple in their 80s from Vaughan found safe, reunited with family

York Regional Police say the couple in their 80s who went missing in Vaughan have been found safe.

Police said the seniors were last seen on Thursday at around 1:30 p.m. near Weston and Rutherford roads.

In an update on Friday afternoon, police said the 83 and 84 year olds were located and reunited with their family.

“York Regional Police would like to thank the media and the public for their help in located a missing vulnerable couple from the City of Vaughan,” police said.
