Chilliwack resident says his little dog has been stolen from his yard… again

Nick Wasyluk cannot believe his two-year-old Pomeranian Chihuahua has been stolen out of his yard again.

‘Ringo’ was outside in the yard of his Portage Avenue home on Sunday evening, running around, and when Wasyluk went to call him in, the little dog was nowhere to be found.

“I was calling and calling, nothing,” says Wasyluk.

That is when he noticed the chain-link fence had been cut in the corner of his yard.

“There was a two-feet by one-foot hole,” he says.

This is not the first time Ringo has gone missing. About six months ago Wasyluk says Ringo was taken out of his yard in a similar manner. When he posted a Craigslist ad with a reward for $1,000 for the return of the dog, he received a message from a man saying his son had found him. Wasyluk didn’t believe him, but met with him and was able to get Ringo back.

This time he has posted another ad but no one has come forward yet.

He has contacted all the local vets and shelters and posted information online, but so far he has heard nothing.

The Chilliwack RCMP are looking into the theft.

Wasyluk says his six-year-old and three-year-old kids really miss Ringo and just want him to come home.

If anyone sees Ringo they are asked to call Nick at 778-868-7502 or the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611.
