CALGARY- The price of zipping around town in one of those blue and white smart cars is going up.
Car2Go is a car-sharing service that came to Calgary in 2012, which allows members to borrow smart cars and pay for it by the minute.

When it first started, it cost users $0.35 per minute, but as the fleet size has increased the company has had to increase the price. It will now cost users $0.41 per minute, up to a maximum of $14.99 per hour.
The increase goes into effect on Monday Dec. 9.
