Man, 23, arrested in Halifax drug raid

HALIFAX – A 23-year-old man is in police custody after a drug raid in south end Halifax. On Thursday night at 9 p.m., the Halifax Regional Police drug unit searched a home on Rhuland Street.

Inside, police said they found cocaine, marijuana and three guns. One of the guns is not legal in Canada.

The 23-year-old has been charged with drug trafficking and 15 firearms-related offenses. He is scheduled to be in Halifax court on Friday morning.
