VERNON — A major water line has broken in downtown Vernon, a line along the highway through the city.
First reports came in at one this morning of water gushing up near the 32nd Street and 32nd Avenue intersection.
It’s cut water all along the highway, apparently from Mission hill in the south to at least 48th Avenue in the north.
There’s no word on when it may be fixed, but there are reports of the city parkade and the public art gallery in it being flooded
