The local art scene just got that much better. See local people doing local good through the art of photography and community at the Urban Exposure Project Exhibit presented by United Way of Calgary and Area’s Gen Next initiative. Join the photographers as they showcase their snapshots that illuminate Calgary’s most pressing social issues – overcoming poverty, helping kids succeed, and building strong communities. Tickets are $35. About the Urban Exposure Project Photography has a unique and remarkable ability to tell stories, and images have never been more widely shared. The Urban Exposure Project is an annual program of Gen Next that harnesses the storytelling capacity of photography. Participants have the opportunity to learn technical photography skills and explore topics such as poverty, kids and community through the lens of their camera.
