The Canada-Sierra Leone Cultural Heritage Day event is designed as an opportunity to honour the remarkable people, places and events that have contributed to our community’s unique heritage. As part of the celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, the Canada-Sierra Leone Cultural Heritage Day is an investment in community-based cultural activities that promote awareness, access, participation and appreciation of Sierra Leonean art, culture, heritage and traditions. We believe this event will help to promote the important message of diversity, multiculturalism, and community building.
