On Sunday, April 9, 2017, the 109th Annual Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival will kick off with a Gala Concert at 2:30 PM at McDougall United Church (10025 101 Street). The Gala will be emceed by Paula Simons from the Edmonton Journal. Performers at the Gala will showcase the following disciplines:  Aboriginal Dance  Brass  Choir  Musical Theatre  Piano  Strings  Voice  Woodwind The Gala is FREE to the public. There will be a reception following the Gala. The 109th Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival runs April 10 to April 28 at MacEwan University’s Alberta College Campus (10050 MacDonald Drive), McDougall United Church (10025 101 Street), and the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre (8426 Gateway Boulevard). All Festival events are FREE to the public.
