The Canadian School of Ballet Presents the 33rd Anniversary Performance of The Nutcracker featuring Guest Performances by Ballet Kelowna. Ballet companies all over the world perform The Nutcracker during the holiday season, each with a special take on Marius Petipa’s beloved classic. The Canadian School of Ballet returns to the Kelowna Community Theatre for their 32nd year, featuring their dancers and special guest performances from Ballet Kelowna. The Nutcracker story was written by E.T.A. Hoffmann, set to music by Tchaikovsky and originally choreographed by Marius Petipa. With non-stop dancing and magnificent sets and costumes, The Nutcracker is an unforgettable tribute to the imagination.
