Scott Shantz

Scott Shantz is a Vancouver based broadcast best known for his curiosity, authenticity, and positive outlook.  Born and raised in the lower mainland, Scott has spent over 20 years in broadcast industry in Western Canada, and now contributes daily as a part of Mornings with Simi, and as host of Weekend Mornings with Scott Shantz.  He previously worked as an FM Morning show host and producer, and maintains a strong passion for music and pop culture.  Scott has always been passionate about news and current events, and is thrilled to be a part of the team at CKNW, learning and sharing more about Vancouver and the lower mainland and the things that matter to those who live here.

Scott lives in North Vancouver with his wife and daughters, and when not working can be found skiing, hiking, or riding a motorcycle. He has a growing collection of vinyl records,  and love of good coffee, and great stories.
