Scott Shantz is a Vancouver-based broadcaster best known for his curiosity, authenticity, and positive outlook.

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Scott has spent over 20 years in broadcast industry in Western Canada. Vancouver can hear him every morning on 730 CKNW telling stories and being part of the conversation on Mornings with Simi.

He previously worked as an FM Morning show host and producer and maintains a strong passion for music and pop culture.  Scott has always been passionate about news and current events and is thrilled to be a part of the team at CKNW, learning and sharing more about the Lower Mainland and the things that matter to those who live here.

Scott lives in North Vancouver; when not working he can be found skiing with his daughters, hiking, or riding a motorcycle. He has a growing collection of vinyl records,  a love of good coffee, and can’t resist a great story.
