Joe Pascucci
Sports Director
Joe Pascucci first joined Global Winnipeg (then known as CKND) back in 1982 as a reporter and anchor and retired from the job in 2014. During his 30-year career at Global, he covered a number of major sporting events, including the Grey Cup, Stanley Cup playoffs, World Junior Hockey Championships, Provincial Curling Championships, the Brier, World Curling Championships and the Pan Am Games. He hosted the telecasts of Jets hockey on CKND from 1992 until the team’s departure in 1996 and anchored Global’s and Shaw TV’s extensive coverage of the team’s return in 2011.
