Born and raised in Winnipeg, Ashley graduated from high school and spent her next two years studying English at the University of Winnipeg. She then entered the Creative Communications program at Red River College, and weeks before her graduation, Ashley joined Global News as a writer/producer.
Having always had a passion for storytelling, she was happy to have found a career where writing doesn’t feel like work.
