RCMP have charged a woman with impaired driving after a crash on the Waywayseecappo First Nation, Thursday.
Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. after a SUV collided with a school bus.
A 44-year-old passenger in the SUV was rushed to Russell Hospital. He later died.
The 40-year-old driver of the SUV and a second passenger were treated for minor injuries.
The bus was carrying four children at the time. The driver and children were also treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV, Sharon Murdock, has been charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle Causing Death and two counts of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm.
RCMP said in a release on Friday alcohol was considered a factor in the crash and that neither passenger in the SUV had been wearing a seatbelt.
