North Vancouver District Fire Department had multiple crews on scene at a fire on Bowron Court in North Vancouver this morning.
A young woman living in the lower suite was taken to hospital with minor injuries. An elderly lady lives in the suite above her. She was treated briefly for smoke inhalation.
A fire investigator told a police officer on scene that they found a mini grow-op in a crawlspace in the lower suite.
It is not known what caused the fire at this time.
Neighbours were evacuated briefly, but are all back home now.
