Surrey RCMP say they have recovered a purple Honda Civic suspected of hitting a man in a wheelchair and speeding off.
19-year-old Jonathan Forero was hit last Tuesday evening while in his wheelchair around 6 p.m. at 132nd Street and 95A Avenue.

He suffered broken bones and serious injuries. The driver fled the scene.
In a strange twist, Foreo was already in a wheelchair as a result of being in another hit-and-run.
RCMP say a tip from a member of the public who saw a news broadcast, led them to the suspect vehicle.
Police are still working to confirm who was driving the vehicle.
