CALGARY – Police have charged a 25-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a Calgary Transit employee and harassed a paramedic in two separate incidents.

Police were called to the Anderson CTrain station on August 2nd, after a Calgary Transit maintenance worker reported being assaulted without warning by a man who approached him in the early morning hours.

After reviewing surveillance footage, police discovered a similar unprovoked attack on two women, just moments before the Calgary Transit employee was assaulted.

The woman were sitting on the steps of the station when the suspect approached them, assaulting both without warning.

Police say neither woman has come forward, and hope they will still contact investigators with any information they might have.

Just over two weeks later, a uniformed paramedic called police after a man shouted obscenities at her while she was in the 9600 block of Macleod Trail S.W.

The man chased the paramedic to her vehicle, and continued to yell at her and bang on her widow while she was inside her car.

Police have arrested Kyle Mackenzie in connection to both instances, charging him with two counts of criminal harassment and one count of assault.

After reviewing even more CCTV footage from the Anderson platform, police discovered another apparently random assault which occurred on August 30th.

Police are urging the victim in this case, who was wearing a hoodie, to come forward and speak with them.
