RCMP investigating homicide after remains of Roger Byer found - image

RCMP have opened a homicide investigation after the remains of Roger Byer were found near his vehicle in a rural area near Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan. The body of the 57 year old from Prince Albert was found by a farmer checking his fields just south of highway 41 last Thursday. Byer was last seen in Melfort on January 20th servicing an ATM machine.

Police haven’t released the cause of death, but have opened up a homicide investigation. Anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding the death are asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
