Tree climbing teen taken to hospital after touching live wires

TORONTO – A young teenager fell almost 25 feet after being shocked by live wires.

The 13-year-old boy was climbing a tree in Oakville when he accidentally came into contact with live wires.

He was thrown and fell approximately 25 feet, hitting several branches as he fell.

Paramedics were called and the child was taken to hospital. He is currently in serious but stable condition.

The child’s parents were notified and met the child at the hospital.
