TORONTO – A B.C. student’s graduation “wizardly” quote in her high school yearbook has gone viral.
Megan Kelly told CHEK News told she had “nothing inspirational to write” and decided to adapt a line from Dobby the elf from “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. ”
Wanting to use humour, Kelly took the line, “Master has presented Dobby with clothes. Dobby is free” and changed it to “Master has given Megan a high school diploma. Megan is freeeee.”

Within two hours after posting a photo of her yearbook quote on her personal Tumblr page, the image received over 50,000 views. Shortly after, the quote was viewed more than 1.2 million times after it was shared on the image-sharing site Imgur.
