FREDERICTON – Police in Fredericton say there was a four-car accident when a couple of drivers stopped to let ducks cross a local highway.
A part of the Vanier Highway was closed Sunday afternoon after two vehicles stopped to let the ducks cross.

A third vehicle ran into the second from behind, bumping it into the first.
Officers say moments later, a car swerved to avoid the ducks and wound up on it’s roof.
Police say the people involved in the accident only suffered minor injuries.
