HALIFAX – A 28-year-old man faces a murder charge in the stabbing death of a 33-year-old woman in Halifax.

Police say Tara Lynn Park was found dead Saturday night in a stairwell of an apartment complex at 117 Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth.

Officers arrested a man Monday in Park’s death who they allege punched an officer in the face, threw a chair at officers and damaged equipment while he was being interviewed by investigators.
