MONCTON, N.B. – A 32-year-old New Brunswick man who videotaped a number of young children as they used the bathroom in his wife’s home daycare has been sentenced to a year in jail.

Jeffery Adam Amos had pleaded guilty to five counts of voyeurism and one count of possession of child porn.

Provincial court in Moncton heard that Amos set up a video camera in February 2012 to record girls as young as seven who were in the care of his wife.

The girls were filmed in various stages of undress and while they were on the toilet in the bathroom of the couple’s home on Frampton Lane in Moncton.

An investigation was launched following a complaint by a parent of one of the children and Amos was arrested in February and his computers were seized.
