CALGARY – A 38-year-old man has died after a motorcycle crash in the city’s northeast, Thursday night.
Police say the driver was travelling on the on-ramp from southbound 52nd Street onto westbound 16th Avenue N.E. when the crash happened, just before 9 p.m.
He was navigating a right bend in the roadway when his Harley Davidson came into contact with the curb, throwing him into traffic.
EMS rushed the driver to hospital, but he later succumbed to his injures.
Police say although alcohol isn’t considered to be a factor in the crash, they are looking into whether speed could have been.
