Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield hosted a 20 minute Q&A from the International Space Station Tuesday afternoon with students at the TELUS World of Science Edmonton in Alberta.
The event was organized for Cosmonautic Day and Yuri’s Night celebrations, which commemorates the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight on April 12, 1961.
Six different schools participated in the Q&A, with over 300 grade 7 to 10 students in attendance.
The event also marks the first Tweetup the Canadian Space Agency has held in Western Canada.
