Toronto police are searching for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a woman aboard a TTC subway train in mid-July.

The incident reportedly happened around 9:50 a.m. on July 19, when a 64-year-old woman was travelling on a southbound subway train between North York City Centre and York Mills stations.

Police said a man sat down beside the woman and used a bag to conceal his arm as he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The victim had moved seats and advised other passengers of the incident after it had happened.
