The City of Moose Jaw has issued a temporary fire ban for the city in light of hot, dry weather the region has been seeing.
Types of fire that are banned include:
Breaking news from Canada and around the world
sent to your email, as it happens.
- Fire pits
- Outdoor fireplaces
- Any form of open flame devices
The fire department is also warning people to be cautious when disposing of smoking materials.
The ban will remain in place until further notice.
The City of Regina says they are not considering a fire ban at this time.
