The iconic Swedish home furnishing store is now easier to shop at for Regina residents.
People can now shop online at Ikea’s website and have their items shipped to a Regina collection point for a flat rate of $79.
Before, the home delivery fee from the website was averaging at $160.
“Our ambition is to become more accessible to as many Canadians as possible,” said IKEA Canada President Marsha Smith.
“The launch of the Regina Collection Point is a great way to provide our customers with a more convenient shopping experience.”
The collection point is located at 525 12 Avenue East. It is not an IKEA store and it is owned by a third party.
“In such a large country, it is important to offer a variety of solutions we can use to make shopping easier for Canadians,” said Smith.
“With a Collection Point already established in Saskatoon, it was a natural next step to launch in Regina, to make shopping online affordable for many more Saskatchewan residents.”
